This season they focus on the case of Curtis Flowers, the case you'll hear more about during

the interview.

Even though the US Supreme Court just said this prosecutor yet again has discriminated

against black people in Jerry's election in a way that literally violates the US Constitution.

The American prosecutor has the right to just try Curtis again and have another try at it.

In the advice this week is relatively simple.

It is check out on your friends.

You know, so some of the people are traveling, people think that everybody's just having

a good time in general and I've had a lot of friends who have really been struggling.

I've had some not so great days and not so great sort of weekends and weeks and it has been

my friends who knew something was off, my friends who just loved me enough to say like,

hey, is everything okay?

Are you sure everything's okay?

Or who also were just like, let's go do this thing.

So taking your friends, we'll never win the battle if we are not as whole as we can be.

And sometimes that takes us reaching out not only when people directly ask for help, but

it takes us anticipating the needs of the people that we love.
