Rubio expected to be confirmed by the U.S. Senate later tonight. 5:10pm- New York Times: Biden was Protected by Inner Circle. According to The New York Times, six members of Joe Biden’s inner circle protected the “faltering” president and shielded the press from witnessing his physical and cognitive decline. According to Politico, the feud between Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi and the Biden family continues to rage on—stemming from the former Speaker’s insistence that Biden remove himself from the 2024 presidential race. 5:50pm- Last week, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked who the leader of the Democrat Party would be once Joe Biden left office.
