Hello and welcome to the Fighter pilot podcast. I am your host Vincent Ayello. You long time

0:09.1

listeners know that on this show, we generally avoid hot buttons, social topics and politics,

0:14.6

not because we think they're unimportant, but rather, we want the Fighter pilot podcast

0:18.8

to be a place where you can take a break from such matters and simply enjoy learning about

0:23.2

military aviation. Well, today is an exception because after hitting it pretty hard for the

1:21.4

now. So I am running for the United States Senate right here back home in Louisiana. Fantastic.

1:26.7

Now, how do you feel your military leadership and flying experiences have prepared you to be a

1:30.5

lawmaker on Capitol Hill? I mean, in so much as any profession prepares somebody for a role in a

1:35.7

what government buy the people and for the people? I think in two ways, Vincent, we like to say that

1:40.6

these are serious times that require serious leaders. You know, if people are looking for this 30-year

1:46.2

career politician who's seeking some personal ambition to climb the ladder of politics, I'm probably
