District of New York campaign finance

investigation were revealed. They showed there was significant

coordination between Donald Trump, Hope Hicks, Michael Cohen, and the president of the

parent company of the National Inquirer. And the context appeared to be about

hush money payments to two women.

This raised serious questions about whether federal prosecutors were subject to political pressure or interference,

especially given that the Justice Department

would not discuss the influence of Attorney General Barr

on the investigation.

What can we do to ensure that prosecutors aren't subject to improper political influence?
