Hello, fellow Rebel Capital, so we have interest rates skyrocketing right now.

Obviously not at the front end of the curve because the Fed hasn't increased interest rates,

but at the long end of the curve with a 10-year treasury, this is a huge deal because that 10-year

treasury yield really impacts the real economy, especially in things like mortgages.

So we need to take a look at this, see what's happening, and then think through what is this

what is the bond market telling us right now about the overall economy? And could George Gammon

be wrong? Remember we were talking about the inversion of the curve. Now the curve is no longer

inverted. We talk about how the cycle usually plays out. But if you remember, I always say that I'll know I am wrong.

And I'm happy to admit it. But I'll know I am wrong about this cycle when we see one thing

happen. And for those of you who are familiar with the channel, you know exactly what I'm talking

about.

So let's check out what is happening with the 10-year treasury yield.

I mean, just today, excuse me, it's up about 10 basis points.

I mean, I hadn't even planned to do a video on this.

And I just looked at the rate of increase and I'm like, wow, this is a big deal.

I mean, look at the, I'm guessing that's pretty much when, no, that is, I'll bet you just when the CPI came out and then the PPI or the producer prices.

So let's look at the last month.

And yeah, we got down to 415.

And just over the last week, we're up to 440.
