Just a quick update to remind you that the Intelligent Speech conference is this Saturday, the 28th of February.

I will be on two panels, What If, Roman Companions and Rivals, where I will be talking about two what if scenarios

and i'll just give you a little spoiler one involves justinian and bellisarius and the other

alexius cominous and bohmond and we'll see how history could have been different if they were companions or rivals.

You'll have to join the conference to find out which is which and what I'm suggesting might have happened.

I'm also on a panel about geography, landscape, as a rival or companion., and inevitably I'll be talking about the

Anatolian Plateau and its role in Roman history, there are of course a host of other podcasters

including Totalis Rankium, who've ranked all the Roman emperors giving a keynote address amongst lots of other sessions.
