The semiconductor sector ended mostly in the green on Wednesday, with Intel jumping ahead of the release of its fourth quarter

financial results. Intel shares climbed 11% on Wednesday. The company is slated to release its

latest results after the markets closed today. Micron technology was up 6.6%. AMD increased 7.7% while Marvell technology ticked up more than 3%.

the quarter. U.S. envoy Steve Whitkoff said President Trump is considering proposals such as a tariff-free zone for Ukraine

to help rebuild industry in the war hit country. Whitkoff said the idea would be game-changing. He made the

remarks on the sidelines in Davos ahead of a trip to Russia as the administration works to broker a peace deal to end the war between
