I'd like to begin with the abortion matter.

It is looking now as if the Supreme Court may be poised to overturn Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v.

Casey.

I say that not because of what happened with the Texas bill but because there is a case on the docket

Dobbs the Dobbs case from Mississippi that is a straight up challenge to Row and Casey and the

the court will be deciding it but before we get to that let us before we get to the

matter of whether the court is going to

overturn Row and what that might mean for the country let's just start Damon last

week when we were coming at the end of the podcast it had just come out what the Texas law had done and you were you know you were quite stern about the nature of that law which I think is entirely appropriate but why

don't you just amplify on that for a minute before we get to the rest because the Texas

bill is really just terrible.
