6 verses 41 through 51. So if you have a copy of the scriptures available, please pull

it out. If you're able, I mean, if you're driving, no, never mind. Never mind about that.

But I want you to be able to see these words that Jesus has spoken for yourself, so

that you can grasp them not just through your ears, but also through your eyes and perhaps

even to your mouth if you read it aloud. Friends, I want to invite you as well to become

6, 41 through 51. Jesus has been speaking to the crowd and he just told them, I am the

bread that has come down from heaven. And we pick up here in verse 41. So the Jews grumbled

about him because he said, I am the bread that came down from heaven. They said, is

not this Jesus the son of Joseph whose father and mother we know? How does he now say, I've

come down from heaven? Jesus answered them. Do not grumble among yourselves. No one can

come to me unless the father who sent me draws him and I will raise him up on the last day.

It is written in the prophets and they will all be taught by God. Everyone who has heard

and learned from the father comes to me. Not that anyone has seen the father except he

who is from God. He has seen the father. Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes

has eternal life. I am the bread of life. Your father's ate the man in the wilderness
