who just published a story a little over an hour ago that Texas has relieved defensive coordinator Pete Kukowski of his duties along with

assistant coach Duane Akina.

And no, as if that wasn't shocking enough, Hank, there is a replacement who was already

lined up.

Former Texas defensive coordinator Will MushChamp.

He's returned to the 40 acres.

A statement was already ready to go by the University of Texas.

Steve Sarkeesian. In quote, it says, we appreciate all that Pete Kukowski has done for the program

in his five years, according to our defense and are grateful for Dwayne Aquinas efforts in return to

the program this past year, said Sarkeesian. They both are tremendous, they both,

they are both tremendous coaches and people that work extremely hard for Texas football and the

players they coach. We have a great deal. We have had a great deal of success and are thankful

for the roles they played in that. We wish him the best. But here is, I guess, the meat of it,

Hank, but at this time, we just felt it was best
