We're here to provide a instant reaction to Miami's 49 to 12 win over a ranked USF team, number 18 overall team in the country. Miami handled them

0:25.7

like they weren't a ranked opponent. It was a pretty dominant win. I don't know if like the

0:30.2

counting stats from this game necessarily reflected because, you know, at the end of the game,

0:35.9

USF did put up a lot of garbage time stats on offense,

0:40.0

but Miami dominated this thing from start to finish.

0:44.0

There was even a nice little lightning delay that extended the game.

0:48.3

But Miami looked good.

0:50.2

Gabby, I'm going to give you the floor first.

0:52.2

Take this wherever you want to take this.

0:54.0

What sticks out to you about this game as you look back on it?

0:59.8

Yeah, I think just watching this team, again, in a situation and in a spot, right,

1:04.8

where a lot of eyes and attention were on USF coming in hot after beating Florida

1:10.0

and just, again, I think just the domination of how

1:13.9

Miami controlled this game from the very beginning you know watching the offense they got

1:19.9

the ball first for the first time this season they marched right down the field and score

1:23.5

multiple drives of over 75 yards for touchdowns.

1:28.5

The way the freshman performed, you know, getting a guy like Josh Moore with two first

1:33.1

quarter touchdowns and just, you know, finding another receiver option.

1:38.3

I think it was six receivers on the day that had a catch up over 20 yards.

1:41.7

So the way Carson Beck is spreading the ball around, it's just a really efficient passing operation that has a lot of options, a lot of guys who can make plays. And then, you know, Mark Fletcher in the running game, you know, over 120 yards on the game. And then, you know, the defense, I think we talked about it, David, coming into this week. And you kind of got to decide how you're going to defend Byron Brown if you're going to make him a runner or if you're going to make him a passer. And we talked about kind of like the explosive element with his arm and we definitely saw that. But I don't think either, I don't think any of those converted into touchdowns. You know, I think they had a couple explosive passes that we saw. I'm credit to Byron Brown. He made some really good throws deep vertically.
