All right, we are back with an instant reaction podcast here, Miami 42, Wake Forest 14. Defense really stepped really stepped up big time choked out wake

forest start of the game was a little dicey for the defense there was a coverage bust

36 yard touchdown by micah may so looked like kind of more of the same old song and dance, but Miami definitely

tightened things up from that point on. Technically, Wake Forest, or sorry, Miami's defense didn't

allow Wake Force to score a touchdown from that point on. Wake Forest did score on a kickoff return for a touchdown later on in the game,

but the defense locked it up. After that opening drive, the defense allowed only 2.3 yards

per play. So that was exciting to see. And look, at the end of the day, like, I'm probably going to annoy people with

this approach. But honestly, from now until the ACC championship game, I really only care

about one thing in particular, and that's getting the win. And there's going to be good

things about these games, bad things about

these games, and we can definitely dive into those things. But I always want to circle back because

Miami's in a position where it controls its own destiny. And when you, when you are in that spot,

the only thing that matters is winning the game. So I'm of the mindset. I don't care if Miami wins

two to zero. I don't care if Miami wins 60 to 59. I don't care if Miami wins 42 to 14. Get the win.
