Miami handles business against FCS opponent Bethune Cookman, wins 45 to 3.

Miami's offense scored on every drive except for one. First team offense scored

on every drive. Defense held Bethune out of the end zone. Thanks to a nice interception by

Bryce Fitzgerald in the fourth quarter. So Miami did what they needed to do. They looked dominant and made a bunch of

big plays when they needed to. Gabby, I was taking pictures today. So my perspective is going to be a

little bit different than yours, where you were up in the press box and frankly you

had a better view of the entire action so i want to give you the floor first just your thoughts what

hit you the most wherever you want to go carson back defense yada yada yada yada and when you're done

i'll fill in the gaps on field level takes.

Yeah, I mean, I think one encouraging that Miami handled business.

I think in these FCS games, that's what you always want to see.

You mentioned the offense, scoring on every single drive.

It was extremely efficient the way they ran the ball with Mark Fletcher.

I thought he was great. You know, I think you saw the receivers making play. C.J. Daniels just, wow, just making some impressive contested catches. I think both those touchdown catches were really impressive. The fade ball at the end of the first half where he kind of came down with it. And then the long 40-yard touchdown that he opened up scoring with from Carson Beck. What a ball. Yeah, what a ball from Carson Beck. Started the game 15 of 15 passes, David. I think you're down at the field level. I'm not sure if you heard this stat, but that is a Miami record for most consecutive passes completed in the game. Broke a nearly 40-year-old record held by

Vinnie Testiverty. He did it against Oklahoma in 1986, so a slightly different level of

competition. But regardless, just Carson Beck was efficient and effective, and he was on target.

His, I think he ended up, what, 22 of 24, two touchdown passes, both to C.J. Daniels. I think it's good

that he's getting going early, just that C.J. Daniels, Carson Beck connection, because it's a

veteran guy that Carson Beck's developing some good chemistry with. Malachi Tony, six catches,

80 yards, led the team in receptions again for the second straight week. So that was good to see.
