Following spring practice number 13, Miami is in the final stretch of off-season football.

they're still, they're practicing in full pads.

There's an emphasis on physicality. We've, you know, kind of a common theme on this podcast

during this month of spring football, Gabby, that we, we want to hammer home is how Mario

Cristobal feels like coming out of the college football playoff run, one of the things he learned

was, you know, just how important physicality is in the college football playoffs. If you're not a team

that is one of the more physical teams in the country, you're not going to be able to go on that type of run.

And as we know, Miami last year was probably the most physical team in the country,

especially on the line of scrimmage. And that kind of carried them through that impressive

playoff run, four or three games, four games for Miami. if you get the buy it's going to be a three

game run to the national championship game if you get there you got to have physical players you got

to have players with that mentality as well and i do think you know there has been a point of emphasis

on that this spring as miami has to replace a lot of those players that kind of epitomized that

physicality style of play like Francis Maui Noah even I would say like CJ Daniels at wide receiver

of course Ruben Bain at Kim Mesador Kiant Kianti Scott, Jacoby Thomas, plenty others.

But those guys set the tone in terms of like physicality for Miami.

And that's just something Mario is going to push this team to try and get close to that level.
