Miami 26, Florida 7. Gabby, I'm going to probably make an argument maybe that listeners will push back on.

I mean, look, it wasn't the prettiest win. I recognize that. I would argue that Miami though controlled the game

and they did show some signs of dominance, particularly on the defensive side of things. And so

when you control the game and your defense dominates, I have a hard time having a, you know, I think it's a good, solid win.

Now, if you want to apply the context of Florida stinks, their offense stinks, all that stuff, fine.

But I think this was a different looking, but good performance overall by the team against a team that is more talented

Florida is more talented than a one and three type of team that's what they are now right one and

three so let's talk with the defense first they dominated one touchdown allowed that is

really hard to do in today's day and age uh 141 total yards of

offense allowed to florida that was their lowest output in like 25 plus years 2.7 yards per play

that's atrocious zero for 13 on third down they did not convert a third down now they went for

some fourth downs and you know they did convert like three of those maybe uh but zero for 13 on

third down in the post game mario christabal said he he'd never been a part of a game that did something

like that zero for 13 on third down so

Gabby the first half I think the defense played in an elite level that the knockback the

physicality the speed they showed in the first half it was some of the best defense I'd seen

Miami play in the last 20 years for that stretch

in the first half. That one third quarter touchdown drive that Florida did put together,

it frustrated me because Miami had played so physical, so stout, so fast in the first half.

And then that third quarter drive, Florida was kind of pushing them around.

Florida was getting to the edges, which Miami did a good job of containing the edges in the first half.
