really tough one tonight here in Hilton Coliseum and you know I sensed it from

the second I walked in so I left my radio show from downtown Des Moines at about 10 till 6 the game was starting at 7 so I

knew okay I'm gonna walk in right at tip time. You expect you know Hilton Collis seem to be on fire and it was I mean it was a

good crowd it wasn't but it wasn't on fire it wasn't on fire. It wasn't lit. It you know even like the PA guy seemed a little bit down and I don't know I thought the team competed well for the first 10 minutes or so and then

Kansas goes on that 23 to 3 run and you know my biggest field throughout that

just from a pure basketball standpoint and then we'll get to the more macro stuff

here momentarily from the basketball standpoint it's like everything Iowa State

was doing was difficult right like even when they were scoring it it was hard Kansas

it was just so easy Iowa State made just so easy.
