All right, guys, a little instant reaction here to news from Matt Campbell's press conference.

Iowa State has now lost its two starting cornerbacks.

And notably, you know, not just starting cornerbacks, all Big 12 caliber cornerbacks.

John Tess Williams is out for the year. With an ACL, we already knew about Jeremiah Cooper from last week.

So that is really staggeringly bad luck to lose your two starting corners in the span of

like three or four days from one another.

So real quick,

I'm just going to break it down for what this means for Iowa State going forward and take

my best stab at that for you.

So obviously,

this is monumental.

This is, you know, a cornerback like John Tez Williams.

It changes the entire way that you play defense.

You know, we can talk about like why was he still in the game and do all that stuff and we probably will,

but let's look forward to what it actually means going forward because that's all that can be controlled at this point.

So this young man, Quentin Taylor Jr., is going to slot himself in there alongside Trey Bell.

Thank God they got Trey Bell.

Said this last week on a bunch of shows that while the Cooper news was awful, the reality
