in its season finale at home that is obviously one more game next week at Kansas State

but the Cyclones beat Kansas today 41 to 31 I'll give you some reaction first I want to

from this one and I guess I'll start just a couple of broad things before we dig into the game first of all I mean obviously this one was way closer than anybody kind of thought it would be Iowa State had to out score Kansas

22-7 in the fourth quarter to to pull away and win this. So you know you do give Kansas some credit. I kind of thought that this team was kind of done. I thought that they were you know

I want to say they quit but I didn't have as much to play for it today but less miles had those guys going

Iowa State kind of had a few opportunities to I thought step on the throat a little bit didn't do that but this thing was you know

Kind of the tone was set from the beginning Iowa State goes three and out a couple of times and Kansas kept picking up

confidence was moving the ball down the field you know the the broad

takeaways I have initially for this one

first of all just how different like you feel from one week to the next in the sport of

college football it's fascinating to me a week ago.
