Andrew Downs with you here on a Saturday afternoon after witnessing something you don't see very often.

A 30-point win over Michigan State in East Lansing, a good old-fashioned butt-whipping

the sort that the fans of Michigan State haven't seen at home.

I guess there weren't anybody,

there weren't any fans there today to witness it, they have not seen a loss like that at home

in the 26 seasons under Tom Izzo.

That's his worst home loss in 26 years, and that is, that's fun to have inflicted that on him after all the pain that

isa has inflicted on the hawkaz over the years just a uh a beat down of a game and you know

iwa comes out to a lead you know it's a little back and forth there for a while but i think i

was up 23 13 26, 26, 13, just on fire from three-point land, shot the lights out from the beginning

and then never really let up a 19-point lead at the half, Iowa up 46 to 27, and then outscored

Michigan State by 11 in the second half on route to an 88 to 58 win for the Hawkeyes.

I believe just like their fourth win in the Brezlin Center, which opened in 1990.

So a great feeling, a bad Michigan State team, or at least not a good Michigan State team.

I guess at this point a historically bad team, certainly compared to where they typically are

and what their expectations are year in and year out.

But that doesn't mean we shouldn't celebrate.

Celebrate wins like this, but by Indiana this year.

So to complete a sweep of Michigan State is fun,

especially following up, you know,

a sweep of Ruckers in a game that really kind of felt like
