My goodness. We have so much to talk about on this Sunday morning, this sport, man. It

just never sees us do amaze me. Again, recording this early Sunday morning, I stayed up for the

Stoops to A&M drama that was the three hours that we had where it looked like Mark Stoops was going

to become the next coach at Texas A&M. A move that was equal parts intriguing, head scratching,

whatever you want to call it. And then finding out at the 11th hour that this wasn't going to happen,

Matt Jones was on top of that. And you always kind of was you're sitting there wondering like,

all right, well, Matt Jones hasn't weighed in yet. And Billy Lucci hadn't weighed in yet. So

when those two heavy hitters and their respective spaces finally reported on this, you just that

to me was telling that we were kind of waiting on pins and needles for those two. So as of right

now, TBD on the A&M job that is not going to to Mark Stoops, I do believe that that as of what

Saturday afternoon, early Saturday evening really had a a very realistic chance of happening

based on everything that we had heard of me, based on Stoops's tweet looks like it was going to

happen. And then for whatever reason, maybe it was difference in opinion among those A&M decision

makers or just Stoops really having some some cold feet at the 11th hour realizing this wasn't the

the job for him. It's not happening. And that's that's the ultimate end result. And also,

we're not going to get as in depth with the coaching hires. Ross Dellinger reported that

Mississippi State is expected to hire Jeff Levy. Nothing final on that as of this recording. So I

think I'll just what I'll do is I'll save any actual hiring news for the midweek pod just so I

don't get gold taped, even though I will with how crazy things are moving after the last college
