It was linebacker and wide receiver today at the Irish Athletic Center.

I was spent a lot of time with Max Bulla, so I want to go to you guys first about some of the

wide receiver conversations you had.

J.B., you came in and spoke with KK. Smith.

I think he's kind of an early curiosity because there's the two

obvious ones in Jordan Faison and Jaden Greathouse. Then there's the young guys, and KK. Smith is

kind of right in the middle there, other than the transfers here for Springball. Yeah, really

striking conversation with KK. Smith today enjoyed my time with him, talked about his road to

recovery, how frustrating it had been for him to have to deal with the

collarbone and the AC joint issues really in both shoulders, but dealing with it late through

last season and having that hamper him.

But I talked to him, noticed around the Orange Bowl that he had started looking really good

on the field and pregame warmups, and I specifically asked him about that.

And he said, I didn't care. They weren't letting me warmups, and I specifically asked him about that.

And he said, I didn't care. They weren't letting me be hit yet. I was ready to be hit.

And I specifically had referenced a drill that he had run with Mike Brown and Michael Bearden,

who's now with the Cleveland Browns. Don't let that confuse you. And he said, yeah, I wanted them to hit me. I was ready to go. In my mindset this year in spring ball is that they're

going to have to keep me off the field because I'm going to make it impossible for them to do so.

He also said adopting a new aggressive mindset out on the field from a personal standpoint is that
