Welcome everybody to another edition of Irish Illustrated Insider. I'm Tim Priester with Tim O'Malley from Irish Illustrated, John Bryce of the Football Scoop, and we just spent some time with J. Wan Sider, Nardine's running backs coach, as well as a couple of offensive players, Jordan Faison and Ty Washington, the transfer from Arkansas that just had a chance to

play against his old team. And then Tate Johnson and Mark Zachary from the secondary. I want to start

with Jay Wond Sider. He's always a fun interview, always very insightful. I was the first one

to go over there and speak with him you know he talked about the same thing that

everybody else is saying about the top two running backs price and love how unselfish they are and

he's just kind of like astonished that in this day and age you have two running backs that are

that good that fast that dominant and he was astonished about you know price love, come on in, get your third touchdown a couple games ago. Yeah, I mean, he's used to two awfully good backs as well. But, I mean, actually, I got over to Cider Late. I wasn't there for that conversation. I asked him about Nolan James, and he said, you know, that guy came in. He is built to be a running back, mentally and physically. He's got a low center of gravity. He is great between the tackles. Some guys break long runs. The key to be a great running back in consistency is being great between the tackles. He attacks pass blocking. He came in. No moment was too big for him. And I had four running backs that were absolutely fine. We didn't need a fifth.

And he absolutely made it that he was going to be that fifth running back, that no, he just knows he's going to be a really good player in the future. But you guys were over there with Cider during Love and Price. Yeah, for me, that early part of Jawan Sider, what stood out as he talked about the hunger that both of those running backs have to be the best in the nation. I think he said of Jadarian

Price, he told me he wanted to be the smartest running back in the nation. And he talked about

how much differently he already sees

them on the film they're putting together this year versus the film he saw of them last year.

And I asked him, what about this offense in general? How different is it and what it's putting

on film week after week or video now, week after week versus what you came in and said you studied?

And he said, it's all the

difference in the world we got so many weapons we'll throw for 400 to beat you like we did last

week or we'll run it down your throat to beat you and I just thought the confidence continues to

ooze out of every single offensive player anyone associated with the no-dneyed offense one more

quick thing that I thought was really important to note.

You want to talk about culture, unselfish leadership? Jawan Sider saying, you know what? We put the Texas A&M loss on us. We didn't play well enough. We didn't make a fourth and one that we should have made. Jay Love knows he should have made it. We threw an interception. We didn't need to throw. We don't do that. we put some air on the scoreboard and we win that game.

He also talked about, you know, I mean, he took responsibility to some extent, the coaching staff not getting enough touches for the running backs against Miami. And he reminds everybody. A lot of those are RPO's and changes at the line of scrimmage, but as a coaching staff, it's their
