Week 3 of 2025 Spring Drills, Notre Dame football is in the books.

We had an opportunity to see more than we've seen all spring.

I'm Tim Prester with Drew Metak from IRISA,

Irish Illustrated, John Bryce, a football scoop, and Irish Illustrated.

And guys, we saw about 60 plays of scrimmage, pretty controlled. We saw some 7-on-7

mixed in. I'm going to let you guys jump in right away, and we're going to kind of throw some of these

things out organically. We really haven't talked about a lot of what we saw. So here we go.

Well, first and foremost, I would say Jason O'Nei really stood out to

me today, both for his personal journey to be in this point and the fact that there wasn't a lot of

good on good when it came down to Notre Dame's D-line against its offensive line because that unit is

so depleted. And we'll talk more about the injury to Kirby Lambert. But O'Nei had a number of

reps against Charles Jogasa and O'Nei won a number of reps

against Charles Jogason.

In fact, one of the best reps he had, he ended up getting flagged for hands to the face,

but he pushed Jogasal probably three to four yards into the pocket, completely collapsed

the pocket.

Taboron Benny Powell, another guy who stood out on defense,

Eli Rared and flashed on offense, and we'll all get to the quarterbacks in a moment.

But those were early superlatives, I thought, for me.
