the tying bench we are tying and testing knots that we found on Instagram I've

found some great knots on Instagram I've also found some terrible knots on

Instagram you can't believe everything you see

when someone says this is a very strong knot. So what we do here, we tie these knots, we

actually test them and see. This is by Redfishing out. That's the

Instagram. It's Matthew Hathaway. He's a guide down in Texas. He says that this knot is

named after John Dodd, a legendary guide.

He also says it's 99%.

So we're going to find out if this is a great knot or if this is a fail.

Today we're tying it with 20 pound braid,

D'Iowa J. Braid, 2. 40 pound D'Iowa J. Floro.

So I tied this knot up, I did my best to tie it exactly like he showed it on his video

Our test show that it broke at 14.95, 14.97 and 15 pounds. Very consistent. I do like it because it is very small just like he says. It does not slip but we show 75% and we know that the double
