My name is Stefania Cordero, and I am the host of the podcast today. Alexander Oldbrecht from MedTech Europe shared reflections about building on previous MedTech Forum editions and the increasing importance of cybersecurity as a topic among others.

How are you approaching this year's edition of the MedTech Forum?

I think it's your third, and I see you have quite a lot of sessions.

Yes, and I mean, it's the third one, but it's the one that I bring, I think, most energy. The first one was an island, and in Dublin, more specifically, and I mean, it's the third one, but it's the one that I bring, I think, most energy.

And indeed, quite a few sessions, I think it's one of the years where I have most sessions.

Yes, I mean, the scope of what I do has been expanding.

So we had digital health and cardiovascular health came on top of that since last year.

And now we're exploring as well a work stream on how the investment world is actually interacting with us as an industry.

And yeah, in digital health, I mean, we have sessions on artificial intelligence, the European

health data space, and what is becoming increasingly more important is cybersecurity as well.

On cardiovascular health, we're discussing the importance of having a European cardiovascular health plan

on a European level.

And finally, I mean, as mentioned, we have the investment session where we want to have

a first insight on how investors from all sorts, private equity, venture capital, our business

leaders look at it from that point of view. And that's exciting to, you know, to kick off
