Boy, a lot going on this week in the world of professional wrestling.

And I'm glad that we're able to connect once again as we did a special episode this week.

But let's get to it, man.

We've got lots to talk about today as well.

Of course, talking about the Royal Rumble, 1989.

The first technically Royal Rumble is a pay-per-view.

And it begins this big four.

As years ago on, people always talk about Royal Rumble,

WrestleMania, the Summer Slam, Survivor series.

This is the birth of the big four.

And for you, while you were working in the WWF,

was it difficult for some people to wrap their heads around having multiple pay-per-views in a year? Because WrestleMania was a success,

but then slowly more keep coming in. And are they all home runs? And that's why they're like,

let's keep doing this. Yeah, well, you have to think that this was, you know, paper views in their infancy.

I mean, you know, let's remember it wasn't too many years before that we'd seen, you know,

closed circuit television.
