This is Michael Cohen and you're listening to the Mayor called the podcast. This is the

indictment we all been waiting for, folks. After two and a half years, the wheels of justice

have finally made their way to Donald Trump and there's no escaping the accountability that is

coming his way. Trump now faces legal peril in three criminal cases, following March's indictment

on 34 counts of falsifying business records and June's indictment on 37 counts of

mishandling classified documents plus the new three charges added in the recent superseding indictment.

And Fulton County Georgia District Attorney, Fanny T. Willis, is said to be just days away

from filing her own indictment against Trump on charges. But this latest indictment stands apart

from Trump's other legal challenges as it goes to the very heart of our nation's electoral system.

Now for those who haven't had time to read the entire 45 page indictment, don't worry because

I managed to get through the whole thing and it's a mess to work of prosecutorial brilliance.

Prosecutors said in the indictment that Trump was determined to remain in power after losing

the 2020 election and that he and six unindicted co-conspirators orchestrated a plot to overturn

the results on and leading up to January 6th of 2021. The four counts against the former president

include obstruction of an official proceeding, namely Congress's January 6th 2021 certification

of Joe Biden's election and three conspiracies to defraud the United States to obstruct an official

proceeding and deny voting rights. Now the last one is a charge that has already successfully
