Hello, welcome to Inside the tape with Greg Kosell on Inside the Birds. It's Jeff Mosher with

0:16.0

Adam Kaplan. And of course, we have Greg Kosell here. And this is going to be a little

0:19.9

bit of a different two-part series. The Eagles obviously lost to the commanders in week 18. They didn't start

0:26.2

all of their starters. So we're not going to go through tape of the entire offense and defense.

0:31.4

But Greg did spend a lot of time watching Tanner McKee and we know he's a hot topic among Eagles fans.

0:38.7

So we're going to, in part one, discuss Tanner McKee and go through some footage of it.

0:43.9

And then in the part two on Wednesday, we'll get in a little bit to the Niners preview.

0:47.9

As the Eagles will be playing, Greg, the San Francisco 49ers, in the playoffs again in a 36 matchup on Sunday, which on Sunday, which we'll have that covered in the pregame show. Again, we'll do a little bit on that. But I feel like that's a pretty exciting matchup, though, just because of the history of the two teams recently. Oh, yeah. I mean, until this last game, the Niners are scoring a ton of points, and we'll get into those details much more so later in the week.

1:12.3

But yeah, it's, you know, if the Niners had by chance won the game, we'd be talking about this as if, wow, this is a really hard matchup for the Eagles.

1:21.4

But obviously with what happened, you know, I think that the narrative has probably changed a little bit.

1:26.6

Probably a little bit, a little bit. We will talk about McCaffrey, though, and the challenges that he presents. Let's shift gears. Let's talk about Tanner McKee. You watch the entire tape. Eagles fans, I can just tell by it's so funny how it's day and night sometimes. You know, they were very excited about Tanner McKee, and now the guy's a bum,

1:45.0

and he's never, nothing more than a third string quarterback

1:47.1

if you're on social media or if you hear the calls on sports talk radio.

1:51.9

What did you, let's just talk about what they did offensively,

1:55.6

schematically.

1:56.6

Did they change a whole lot when you watched it as far as what they normally do

2:00.8

offensively

2:01.6

to suit him?

2:02.4

You know, that's hard to tell because the one thing about McKee, and you saw it early in the

2:08.5

game, is the ball comes out, you know, so that's why it's hard to tell because what one

2:15.8

thing people have to understand is you're talking about two totally different

2:19.4

style quarterbacks. So the offense is going to look different. That doesn't mean all the route
