I'm Jeff Mosher and I'm joined as always by Greg Kosell to break down the tape of an Eagles game.

And this is a Black Friday loss for the Eagles

to the Bears. And Greg, it was an ugly loss on both ends. We have picked on the offense

quite a bit. We're going to pick on the offense and the defense in this game because it wasn't

very good on either side. But we will start first with the defense and get into the

offense on the next episode.

Of course, the Eagles lost 24 to 15.

And Greg, they got run over in a way we have not seen the Eagles get run over in quite a while.

Yeah, that is very true.

You know, I imagine people listening to us who are obviously Eagles fans,

I would assume most. We're probably not surprised at the offensive performance because it's been

somewhat similar all season long, but the defensive performance, particularly the run game.

It's one thing I think they expect at times with the secondary, perhaps that teams can

throw at times.

But the way they were run on with, what, 40 for 255 by the two backs combined, that was

not just the 255, but the fact that they were able to run 40

times, because you can only run 40 times if you're having great success. You don't run 40 times

if you're gaining 70 yards. So, you know, it was the success that allowed the bears to run the ball as much as they did,

you know, but what was so interesting about the game is, yes, you're watching the game on TV.

You know that the Eagles offense in the first half only ran 17 plays, which is unheard of

in an NFL game.
