Hello, welcome to another episode of Inside the Tape on Inside the Birds.

It's Jeff Mosher, Adam Kaplan, and of course, it is our tape breakdown master.

Greg Cocell and the Eagles keep Greg busy and dig it into the tape because

they've made even more moves since the last time we did an episode. They made a trade to get

Jalen Phillips from the Miami Dolphins and Edge Rusher. We'll get into that. We'll get Greg's tape

breakdown. And then real quick, you know, because the Eagles play the Packers next, we'll get

a little bit into the Packers next we'll give it a little bit

into the packers offense and why they're so jekyll and hide at times and greg has some

tape observations on the packers offense we won't go too much because we got a pregame show

later in the week but we'll give you a little we'll wet the appetite a little bit for eagles

packers on mond night. So Greg,

it's no stranger, any of us are to the Eagles making as many moves as possible. They bring in

Jalen Phillips. You've watched some Dolphins tape. You know about Phillips. I'm sure you studied

them coming out of college. I did. What do you think? Well, he was my favorite edge player coming out of college.

Oh, really? So I really like Jaylen Phillips. You know, he, he's a fascinating guy because when he

came out of high school in California and went to UCLA initially, he was the number one recruited

player in the country, not just in his position, but in the country. He's a freak at, you know,

for a high school player.

And then he left football for a year. I think was it concussion based or something happened.

And he chose to leave football for a year and then ended up at the U and started to really show

the traits that made him the number one recruited player in the country. And I thought he was

the best edge player in a draft class that did not have a lot of great edge players, if I recall,
