Hello, everyone. Welcome to Inside the tape with Greg Cosell on Inside the Birds.

I'm Jeff Mosher with Adam Kaplan. And of course, we've got Greg CoSell to break down the tape of the Eagles last game, offense and defense.

Of course, the Eagles lose again, Greg.

They lose 2219 to the Chargers in overtime.

We're going to start with the offense in part one here and saw some different things,

some I guess interesting things offensively.

But when you watch the tape, what really

jumped out to you about the Eagles offense, which again, I think for now the fifth straight

game of 23 or fewer points? Yeah, but it finally looked like an NFL passing game. There

are a lot of really diverse concepts, things that, you know, I see with that teams run in the league that the Eagles

have not really run this year. They did a lot of different things. They had, you know,

four strong concepts. They had flood concepts. They had concepts that present defined reads

and throws for the quarterback. I actually thought it was the best game of the season

in terms of what they did in the past game from a concept standpoint.

Greg, I thought watching it, I know you can't excuse five turnovers if there's just no,

no coach would accept that. But there's sometimes when it hurts us throw on the ball.

It's like, wow, that's a really good throw. But again, it's hard to get around. Okay, look at all the turnover. So overall, you like the concepts. What do you think? What do you think of the play of the quarterback in the game overall? You know, it's easy after the fact because of four turnovers to say he played poorly. And I think we accept that he'll miss a few things, just that he doesn't throw it. You know, that's just who he is. That part of who he is will not change at this point in his career. So if you accept that, you know, you live with it. But I thought for the most part, and this might sound strange, and we can certainly go over the turnovers because each turnover

has to be looked at as a separate play not as a number on a page um i actually did not think he

played badly it's easy to you know people listening might think what are you out of your mind yes

you know it's easy it wouldn't be the first time i'm told that either, obviously, guys, as you well know.

But, you know, and it's easy after the fact to say that.

But, you know, I thought, I mean, I thought the 28-yard throw he made to Smith in overtime was his best throw in the season.
