Rapping up here on Take Command, two final buckets Logan that we have talked about throughout the show that we're now going to dive into.

We'll get to how the current roster lines up with Quinn and kind of what we think he will do with it in a moment but any final thoughts on the process right there was lots of consternation throughout lots of ups and downs, lots of interviews, and then ultimately,

you know, a lot of momentum in the media towards Ben Johnson.

In certain circles, well, you had other very plugged in, I would say the most plugged in people being like hold on like

let's settle down Johnson pulls out McDonald goes to Seattle ultimately they

get Quinn but he's the last guy and they're the last well I should say they're the last team to make the higher

any worries on how that all went down and how we landed here even if I think both of us see this

as something that very much potentially could work if some of the key questions we've laid out or answered in the right ways.

Honestly, I don't really have that big of a concern about it and I think the reason I say that is because just when you talk again when you

talked to people who were plugged in this wasn't like a one horse race it wasn't like the

Ben Johnson race it was apparently again and this is from I'm getting this secondhand from people and this was

consistent through all the people that I talked to it wasn't like Ben Johns it was like

they're all pretty close and they all had kind of their wards they all kind of

had their issues and the the committee had reservations about guys, you know, that I think the people weren't, you know, the public wasn't necessarily aware of.

So again, like to me, this is they did their new diligence Ben Johnson no

one got Ben Johnson right no one got Bobby Sloick they both went back to their

respective teams McDonald well I think they you know there was very, very talented. I didn't talk to anybody

familiar with the process, but people that I know in Baltimore and they were like, you know, he does come across sometimes as a young guy.

So maybe in terms of just me totally, this is a total conjecture, maybe they didn't think he was ready. I don't know. But by the way, Josh Harris has a long history of hiring experienced coaches or at least guys that have been like you know his

first hire in Philly for the Sixers with Brett Brown long time Greg Popovich
