When I was about 12 or so we had a lesson on friction and at the end of it the teacher said

so everybody is friction a good thing and I was the only one who stuck at my hand and said well

without friction we'd all fall over we wouldn't be able to stand up because we just slide around

everywhere and everybody laughed and the teacher laughed at me and I thought well that's a

bit unfair because I think I actually have a reasonable point. It's a silly little example but it

made me I think feels if I needed to prove myself and feeling you need to prove yourself is in

truth a close cousin to being competitive. You'll gain a real understanding of how Adrian's

mind works in this episode and why he's enjoyed so much success over such a long period of time.
