Welcome to Williamsport, Pennsylvania as we ride into the second week at the Little League

World Series. One of Summer's annual traditions and today's a loaded slate of five games,

including the four teams and the international

winners.

Sebastian Salasar, my amigo, can you please explain to folks who otherwise have no geographical inclination?

Where in the world William Sport, Pennsylvania, even is?

Basically, smack dab in the middle of the state of Pennsylvania.

Maybe a three and a half hour drive from Pittsburgh, from Philly,

it's about three hours more north and a little bit east,

but it's really in the middle of the rolling hills of Central Pennsylvania,

which is a beautiful part of the country, but a part of the country I don't think a lot of people ever really have caused to get to.

But I think it should be on people's bucket list because it's pretty special once you get here.

And of course is the sight of the Little League World Series and the pageantry, the tradition of all of this, Sebi.

They've been doing this for eight decades up there.

You've got years long perspective on it now. Can you just

describe to people a little bit of what that magic is when you get to town?

Yeah, I think I forget who said it but somebody kind of made the comparison that it's something like a baseball tournament meets the county fair

There's a there's an element of you almost like at an amusement park minus the big rides and the attraction is the stadium it is the baseball and it really is I mean

pageantry you know sometimes in sports I think that's overused but it's the right

word here like there's a parade the day before and you get to see these kids go from you know

12 year olds from around the world to local celebrities right they're riding

through the parade down the middle of Main Street and Williamsport and all the kids are there throwing them baseballs trying to get
