Summary
Greetings, Comrades!
With the help of our academical friends in the Latvian KGB research center, we acquired a very interesting document: “Regulations of the USSR KGB “On the agency apparatus and trustworthy persons in the USSR State Security Committee”, from 1983. Yes, it’s authentic, and as, I couldn’t find a full, widely available English translation on the internet. So…I translated the whole thing. If anyone is interested in reading it themselves, I’ll be glad to share. I hope you’ll find this interesting, as this is a bit more dry episode – I wanted the text to speak for itself, explaining only the very necessary things. But…making jokes about this text felt a bit wrong. Enjoy!
