Offense has been kind of hard to come by the last couple games. Nice to have the outbursts that you did tonight. Yeah, for sure. You know, it's nice to be able to score. Honestly, and the other thing it does is, you know, when guys score, they feel better about themselves. It gives guys confidence, and confidence matters a ton in every league, but certainly in this league. So, you know, hopefully we can carry that forward a little bit. It sure sounded like it in the room after the game.

0:23.0

That felt like a big, cathartic wind for them. and certainly in this league. So, you know, hopefully we can carry that forward a little bit.

0:38.8

Sure sounded like it in the room after the game. That felt like a big, a heartic win for that. Yeah, it probably was. You know, like we haven't won enough lately, and then just to be able to score it. And, you know, listen, as a coach, you'd love to win 3-1 and, you know, all that stuff. But to score six matters. And again, I think guys feel better about themselves when that happens.

0:38.4

And I know how important confidence is so it's a good thing for it guys

0:42.9

important resilience in a camp tonight yeah really good you know I thought the line was really good

0:47.4

you know between Connor and dicky's line they were out there against celebrini they kind of shared it

0:52.6

at different times and you know Mickey just continues to be a really good player for us. He night at and night out.

0:57.3

He just competes so hard. He wins puck battles. There's a simple kind of greatness to him.

1:05.0

It's not, you know, necessarily flashy-ish. He skates really well. But man, he just really works and wins puck battles and defends hard and gets the puck on a stick because of it. And it's kind of a good lesson for everybody in our room. I've been asking about the Nato's, I guess, lack of offensive here in the last year and four points for him, including some pretty highlight real plays. When did you see from him? Yeah, no, I thought he played well. You know, when he's played on that line with Mickey and Dickie they've done a good job he's he's he's generally played pretty well you know as I said to you earlier I mean some of this is always opportunity driven and you know when you're playing on that line you're gonna get more opportunity and and good for him to take that opportunity and kind of run with it a little bit. And it's a big night for him. We were hoping to get on that third one, but it was a big night for him. Looks like you switched the D pairs a little in the third period? What was the reason? I just didn't. I thought we were just struggled a little bit in a couple of our pairs. We just made a couple switches. you know, I thought Murph was having a good night, and so we kind of moved Murph up with last to ultimately go out against the celebration. What did you see on the power plate goal where you guys finally broke that throw? Well, you know, I thought that power play was good. It stayed in the end almost the whole time. You know, when you get zone time, you're eventually, I think, you know, I know from a PK perspective, what you want is minimize the zone time. Because the more zone time you have, the more somebody's going to make a play, or you just kind of get warred down, or they get, you know, that extra opportunity. And so the fact we really to keep in the zone for a long time, I thought was important. And then obviously if we can get kind of those pucks in those areas, you know, he can be deadly.

2:38.0

What is the...

2:39.0

The sharks obviously kind of turn it on the second half of the game.

2:46.0

And that's a team you're going to probably be facing a whole lot over the years and big games.

2:50.0

So was your takeaway of seeing this iteration for the first time? Yeah, I thought, you know, they do some real good things offensively that tax you. I think you got to take advantage of that when you can and kind of in transition, which I thought we did. But, you know, they're going to tax you defensively, meaning they're going to make, you know, you know they're going to make you good D. I thought when we did that, we were good. I thought we lost a little bit in the third. They pushed, you know, games were going to go up, 5-1 are goofy, like they can, you know, we saw it last night. Like they can get goofy, good for a penalty kill to step up big in the third, you know, to kind of keep it at two-gold and three-goal lead. We'll have to come by the last couple games on ice down shot for a slight gone to the night. Yeah, no, it's great. Obviously, we had a lot of guys get on the sports street tonight, and, you know, that's what we work towards every game. You know, it's fun to play that way, and, you know, it's definitely great to get the win. It seemed like you were feeling frisky now. You had a couple of things out there.

3:40.9

Yeah, it was great.

3:41.9

I mean, I always say when I get to go to church on Sundays, that's when I feel good for the games. And I felt good tonight. So you've been looking for some more of that offense and feeling like you were getting chances. And do you feel like this kid, you know, After the break, maybe propel you a little bit?

3:56.3

I hope so.

3:57.0

I think that's the kind of thing you need.

3:58.8

Like you build momentum.

3:59.9

You got, you know, I think I got a lucky point on the first one where I try to shoot and it gets to grizzy and he makes a good play and or Dick if you ever get it would happen but I think at the same time it's just you know getting those balances every now and then you have plenty of chances that you know should go in that don, and then sometimes they don't deserve to go in and they go in.

4:14.8

So hopefully that's a good sign for the future, and, you know, I'm going to continue to work to hopefully help the team win more games. How nice was it to be able to get a crowd a win before the break? It's awesome. obviously they're super passionate and dedicated to us and you know we had that signing

4:29.6

yesterday we got to meet a lot of fans and you know you just feel the you know

4:32.9

electricity from the fans how excited they are about you know the future and you know the present right now and obviously we got to you know finish strong with the next game but it's definitely great to get a big win in the building sounded pretty rowdy in here too after the game yeah guys guys were guys were pumped up. I think you know
