into this, but let's kind of start from the beginning we met with coach Forbes way way back in

January and you sort of got the sense that this team was pretty good but they

didn't know how good they were going to be because they lost so much and when we

talked to him yesterday on our weekly this week in UNC baseball he discussed the six players they lost and how it was

going to be a struggle to replace them your overall thoughts on how this season has have

has progressed to this point i think they've done a pretty good job replacing what they lost

from 2024 yeah i think one of the things too when you miss that many players, when you lose players of that caliber, that star power, that production is they didn't just lose Vance, Casey, Anthony, Parks, Alberto, Colby.

You also kind of lost the identity of that team.

It seemed like when you had teams with Vance and Alberto and then you added Parks and Casey

with the power, they had, they kind of had the similar identity. I don't think they really went

from 23 to 24 and they had to find a new identity.

I think what they had to do is they had to refine it and just get better.

But it seems like with this year, with everything that they lost, they had to find some sort

of new team identity.
