Hello and welcome to the Monday edition of the Inside the Huddled podcast. I'm your host, Neil Reynolds,

joining me to look back at week two in the NFL, Mike Carlson of Channel 4. Mike, it's a Monday morning

after the Sunday games, which means you're probably in your SpongeBob pajamas, lounging around the house,

thinking about what was happening the night before. Yeah, I put SpongeBob on the walls, so when I house i don't hurt myself well yeah the padded walls you're already at that stage are you you bet let's start them straight away let's get into the games we'll get into the games we will take uh we'll take some of your questions in our mailbag towards the end of this podcast we'll also hand out our own awards for player of the Week and Goat of the Week. But let's start, Mike, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Minnesota Vikings. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers obviously coming to Wembley Sunday, October 23rd, but a half-time against the Vikings trailing 17-0. It wasn't looking good for Rahim Morris's men. No, I mean, having picked Tampa to win that game, I was a pretty disconsolate when I looked

at that score. But, you know, I think they got, they sort of got it going in the second

half by doing, doing some of the things they need to do in order to win. And one of those is to run

the ball. I think we talked about that last week.

And the other one was to involve their wide receivers downfield. And, you know, when you've got

Desmond Briscoe and Preston Parker making the plays for you, that's kind of a surprise to all of us.

Yeah, I mean, in the first half, Josh Freeman wasn't great and he didn't have a lot of protection, but he did hit a couple of his receivers in the hands, and they didn't make the catches. And in the second half, you felt that they needed to do that. They needed to take every opportunity they got on the road against a Vikings team that was playing pretty well, and they did. They stepped up the receivers and Josh Freeman as well now, Mike.

This is a stat that jumped out of me.

And, you know, it's funny.

I was looking at an analysis of the great fourth quarter comeback quarterbacks.

And the truth is that even the best of them seem to actually produce comebacks at something like a 35% rate. Right. If you go back and you look at all the games that they were in where they were trailing in the fourth quarter and didn't win. You can't pull them all off, can you? No, exactly. But this is really impressive. And, you know, in fairness, I thought Minnesota played a really good game coming off
