And I'm not sure, Neil, whether we're actually going to take a look at any of the games from the weekend

because there is just so much right now going on in the national football league.

Seems a long time ago already, doesn't it, Week 17?

Yeah, there's so much already in just the last couple of days.

So I think this one will take on a more newsy feel.

Yes, we've had Black Monday, they call it, in the NFL where everybody seems to get fired.

Just to let you know that Internet Rich has got off to a cracking start.

I got a text just before the game started on Sunday, belittling, no, slaughtering Matt Flynn as a seventh round pick.

The conversation dried up as the night went on. We'll get to Matt Flynn a little bit later on, but internet rich, after appearing semi-sensible during the Christmas special, I'm pleased to say, is reverted to type to kick off 2012 with some buffoonish suggestions and all that kind of thing. I was beginning to wonder, because when we had him on, he sounded, like you say, semi-sensible, and that wasn't the internet rich that I think we'd all grown to know love. So it's good that he's back there and making outlandish statements. So it's the business end of the season. The playoff start this week. Mike and Neil are going to be looking ahead to the wild card round on Thursday's edition of Inside the Huddle.

But we're going to look at what's been happening in the NFL since that final round of matches.

And there's so much to tell you about.

We've had coach firings.

Rahim Morris of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is gone after a 4 and 12 season.

Won 10 games last season, but they've had 10 successive losses to finish this season.

So he's out in Tampa Bay, although the general manager, Mark Dominic, stays.

Steve Spagnolo of the St. Louis Rams is gone.

2 and 14.

He's got an NFL worst record of 10 and 38 in the three seasons in charge, so he's out um jim coldwell still in as we look at it
