We had to hold on to this podcast just so that the news could clear and we can chew it up now we did

actually i know you are there at the hamilton tiger cats and dragged into a quick meeting this

morning which delayed our podcast just a just a few minutes and it was perfect timing because

uh it was a relatively quiet news week until uh that news and the headlines hit that Tony Romo is

looking like he is going to retire and going to broadcasting. Jeff, we'll dig into

Tony Romo's career in a second, this undrafted free agent out of eastern Illinois. But this is,

this, this will obviously work. This will come out in the coming days this

will play out over the course of the rest of this week but one minute jerry jones is saying that

teams are free to to contact the cowboys and start giving tony romo physicals with a view to

potentially trading in the next tony's walking away there's obviously

tony and jerry are close but they clearly weren't on the same page here well i you know again i

think some of that is you just got to understand it's jerry and and and he loves to talk to the media

and he loves the media talking about the cowboys and so you know i was not surprised frankly

that this thing had you know turned into such not surprised, frankly, that this thing had, you know, turned

into such a soap opera as it is. The thing to me that's amazing about it, Neil, is the ripple
