how's it going well we won our first exhibition game and we've got the second one this week

we play on Friday night at home it'll be a chance for our kids to be in front of the fans for the

first time so it's exciting you know and it's it we're banging on the door of a new season, Neil, and you know how that always is.

Yeah, absolutely.

Always good fun when the season's just around the corner.

We know we've got OTAs and mini camps across the United States as well.

So those are all taking place with teams beginning their preparations or kicking up their

preparations for the 2018 NFL season.

We're going to look at some news from around the NFL and we're going to continue our state of the franchise series.

This week we look at the Los Angeles Rams, the Carolina Panthers and the Tennessee Titans.

I want to start with the very sad news.

I saw this when I woke up this morning that Dwight Clark, the great 49ers receiver,

had died.

He died of following a battle with ALS, more commonly no motor neurons disease here in the

UK. Jeff, just such sad news. He was one of the nicest guys you could ever wish to me. I worked with

him around the 2013 London game. We had him over as one of the alumni. Joe Montana was over. I was hosting the
