And we're going to have the final look, really, at the NFC and the AFC Championship games

which we're really looking forward to. So we're going to reflect back

on Baltimore's win, on San Francisco's win. But there are two or three little storylines,

Neil, that we need to touch on before. I think probably the biggest news outside of the championship

games and the Super Bowl at the moment is this news that's broken over in the States in the last

24 hours or so that the Jets would consider

trying to trade Derell Revis. I've had a bit of a look at this and the suggestion is that

they want at least one first round pick for the player who's arguably the best cornerback in the

NFL, but do you give up a first round pick for a player who's rehabbing an ACL?

I'm not necessarily sure you do.

No, at that position where he's going to put a lot of stress and strain on that knee.

But when you look at what Revis does, such a special player can shut down his half of the field.

If you're looking at the NFL being more and more of a passing league, which we are,

then I don't think one first round draft pick

is is too high a price to pay and looking at this this would be a business decision from the

from the jets i don't think they want to pay rivas you know franchise quarterback type money

the salary cap's not going to go up this year.

So he would be expensive.

He wants a long-term, big contract.

I don't know if he's going to get that there, but it's a business decision because when you listen, I think Rex Ryan absolutely wants to keep that guy.
