So welcome to the pre-2012 NFL draft edition of Inside the Huddle podcasting association with NFOUK.com.

I'm about to jump on a plane and head to the Big Apple where we're going to be broadcasting the first round of the draft live on Five Live Sports Extra,

with a half an hour preview, I think, from 10 o'clock on Thursday night on Five Live.

Mark Chapman's going to be in the chair, I'll be at Radio City Music Hall with Greg Brady.

We're hoping to speak to Andrew Look, to Oliver Look, and to various other people around the draft.

Neil will be back here sobbing silently into his new Houston Texans match of

pajamas.

But it's a huge week, isn't it?

We're really looking forward to it, aren't we?

It is a massive week, and it's going to be great to hear it.

We did it last year the day before the Royal Wedding, didn't we?

That's right, yeah.

Early hours of the morning.

It's great fun.

You get that, you still get those sort of moments of suspense when you're not sure what picks are going to come.

I think that will be even more so this year because the networks are not going to be able to show behind the scenes.

So you get that wow factor when the commissioner comes up.

We've had all these mock drafts and we're going to get to a good one in a minute. We're not. We're going to get to Internet Riches in a minute. I mean, there are various good ones and there's Internet Riches ones. Good as in entertaining, I'm sure. It's journalistic license being

used by you there. But the mock drafts are so hard to predict and they never come out because

we don't know what these scouts are thinking. And sometimes we look at a team that will have two good running backs.

And we say, well, there's no way they're taking a running back there.

And they just take one because he's the best player available.
