So welcome to Monday's edition of Inside the Huddle podcast. It's slightly different this week. Greg Brady and I have been in San Francisco for the NFC Championship game. And Neil Reynolds, a little bit later on, he's going to be speaking to Brian Bouldinger to get his take on the Super Bowl, which we now know is going to be the New England Patriots against the San Francisco 49ers.

We'll talk in a second, Greg, about the AFC Championship game.

But first of all, we've got to start with the game that we commentated on on 5 Live Sports Extra from Candlestick Park,

Where the San Francisco 49ers saw it all evaporate in overtime. Kyle

Williams with the fumble, Lawrence Tynes, the former Scottish Claymore, the Glasgowian.

One of our boys winning the game, winning the NFC championship game for the second time in his career,

did it against Greenback at Lambo Field,

and he's done it at Candlestick Park. We thought that these two games this weekend were going

to be close, and they were. It didn't let us down. It was fantastically competitive, both games

over the weekend. Yeah, a field goal each way. I mean, you know, just to talk about the Giants,

it's amazing the fortitude they have. I don't think they played their best game today. They played a phenomenal game the week before against Green Bay. They were obviously nearly perfect on both sides of the ball against Atlanta. I mean, only gave up a safety against a pretty potent offense like the Falcons. So they weren't at their best today, but that's the sign of a great team. I think the Patriots were the same.

But there weren't any glaring mistakes other than the Giants not being able at times
