Welcome to Inside the Huddle, the first post-draft edition. So we're going to go through it.

Neil Reynolds is here. I'm Darren Fletcher. We're going to look at our mocks and see just how bad they actually were.

Although I think I've actually made a pretty strong case for mine being slightly

better than yours, but that is about to become apparent.

How are you going to do that?

I don't know.

Clearly, because I think I got more than you.

I think the phrase hook or by crook is what we're looking for.

By crook, definitely.

Yes.

So we're going to go through the draft this week, the first round, analyze that. And then next week we'll look a little bit deeper and we'll start to grade the franchises with their respective drafts.

I mean, having said that, most of them, Neil, just with a broad view, it was a draft, wasn't it, where teams addressed needs.

So in terms of what teams wanted, they have in the main main done relatively well from this particular draft.

Yeah, they have because it was a deep draft, so they were able to do that. They were able to look

at a lot of different areas. I wrote up some grades already for NFLUK.com, did the AFC and the

NFC earlier this week. And as I was going through that, I thought, you know, there's not many

teams that really missed on what

they needed. And now obviously it depends how they pan out and whether the players become good

players. But it was hard to be critical of teams not addressing the areas that they needed to

address. And I think most teams did that. So from that point of view, first impressions, there's a lot

of teams that had good weekend last weekend.
