I'm your host for this week, Neil Reynolds, flying solo this week, a little bit different

because Darren Fletcher is otherwise engaged.

We weren't able to get together this week to record our podcasts.

So myself and Fletch will be back next week to look at the uh the second

half of the opening round of the draft grading the teams what we liked what we didn't like uh so as i say

a little bit different this week and i'm going to catch up uh with a player who played in the nflb for

seven years an offensive lineman played for the washington redskins the dallas cowboys the buffalo

bills the new england patriots and the cleveland browns it's uh the host of serious ex played for the Washington Redskins, the Dallas Cowboys, the Buffalo Bills, the New England Patriots,

and the Cleveland Browns. It's the host of Sirius XM NFL Radio. He's a commentator for

Sports USA Radio. He's the host of the Ross Tucker Football Podcast, and he was my co-host at the

fan rally in Trafalgar Square last year, Ross Tucker.

So we talked, this was recorded earlier in the off season,

and we talked about a wide number of things from the Wildcat,

contracts for Joe Flacco and Tom Brady, the international series,

his game day routine, what it was like to play on the road,

what it was like to get cut when road, what it was like to get

cut when you were an NFL player. But we started our conversation with me asking Ross,

if he thinks the read option is here to stay. Well, I think that defenses will have a much better

handle on how to defend it next year. I don't have any question about it.

But it's still extremely difficult to defend.
