So welcome to Inside the Huddle.

This is the early week edition of the podcast because this week we are going to do two.

Neil Reynolds is going to join me on Thursday and we're going to preview all of the week 11 games and give you the picks.

The picks which at the moment I'm enjoying, bearing in mind I did say that the Saints would

beat the Falcons.

Neil scoffed, I was right, he was wrong.

So he's not with me today because I've got my very good friend, my Super Bowl winning

friend, Rocky Boyman, with me in the studio.

We're actually recording this podcast just a couple of hours before we do

Monday night football for the first time on the red button, on the eye player, and on Five Live

Sports Extra. So we've flown the big man in to be part of the big show on opening night. Rocky,

great to see you. That's right. Very happy to be here with you, Darren. Seems like yesterday we

were just doing that the Giants Cowboys game, but happy to be here with you over in the old UK.

I did notice you'd still got ticket tape from the Super Bowl in your travel bag when you arrived earlier this afternoon.

Before we get to the scores and the stories and we give out the awards, etc.

A couple of big stories at the moment in the NFL.

The first one, I think, is the concussions this week.

32 starting quarterbacks, three concussed.

That's a far too high percentage for what the NFL would like.

They are high-profile quarterbacks as well, Michael Vick, Jay Cutler, Alex Smith.

Is this a freak occurrence? Is this a freak week?

Or are the warning signs there for everybody to see? I think it's a little bit of a freak week.
