I'm your host, Neil Reynolds, and joining me from North America is my usual partner, Jeff Reimbold from Sky Sports coverage of the NFL.

And Jeff, we're going to look ahead to week six.

We're going to look back on a wild week five and look at some of the talking points and answer,

our reader and listener questions in the mailbag.

But Jeff, just top line, first thoughts.

What a week five it was phenomenal football

and last night I guess it was crowned by olivion bells play at the goal line with three seconds left

to go and what a gutsy call by Pittsburgh and you know whether that's Todd haley or Mike

Tomlin or whoever but you know again it was football, and every NFL fan got their Phil.

There are a lot of broken hearts, I'm sure, on Monday morning, and some people are scratching their heads

because there were some games I look at and go, wow.

Yeah, we'll get into some of those games.

The Bengals were down by 17, and they won.

The Cleveland Browns were down by 12 17 and they won. The Cleveland Browns were down by 12 and they won. Buffalo

were down by 10 and 1. The Chicago Bears down by 14 and they won as well. So it was the

weekend of the comeback. Jeff, if I was trying to myself and Nick Pike are a producer

this podcast. We were talking today and we said this is the kind of week where you would want to

make a five minute video of the NFL and show it to new fans to maybe to a soccer fan because it was the equivalent of a goal a winning goal being scored in the 90th minute across the league I mean last night in Pittsburgh Jay Cutler's touchdown was inside the last minute. There were games in overtime.

I mean, it was just drama from start to finish.

Well, that's a great point, and here's how the National Football League has changed in the last 10 years.
