Number one, inside the GOP hunt for cost savings. Number two, Tulsi Gabbard's tight rope walk on Intel. And number three,

the political ad wars. Yep, they're already starting. All right, Jake, let's get into it. We are

leading Punch Bowl news AM with a really interesting look here at how Republicans

are on the hunt and they are asking, we've got some news this morning with House Republican

leadership asking the incoming Trump administration to hold off on rolling back several

Biden-era policies by executive order so that

GOP lawmakers can repeal them in a reconciliation bill instead. This is super important because remember,

President-elect Donald Trump has said day one, he's going to be doing a ton of executive orders,

working on all of these issues. And now you have

Republicans saying, hey, like, pump the brakes. We're going to need to be able to take some of

this cost savings and put it towards reconciliation. Yeah, that's right. So there's three main

policies they are telling the administration to not roll back. Number one, rolling back the

student loan forgiveness program, which they estimate

to be about a quarter trillion dollars, $250 billion. Incentives to electric vehicles, which has been a

big Biden administration priority, and the CAFE standards, fuel efficiency benchmarks for cars and light
