Gina Smiley.

Now, Gina writes to the New York Times.

She writes about the Federal Reserve and the economy, and she's amazing.

Also in her spare time, what has she done?

She's written a book about the Federal Reserve, and it's a great book because it essentially

was so well-positioned as the Silicon Valley Bank and Small Bank crisis was emerging.

I do think that this book is really a good way to understand what the Fed does.

So the name of the book is Limitless.

The Federal Reserve takes on a new age of crisis, and the author is Gina Smiley.

This is an interview that we conducted in the spring after Silicon Valley Bank and

Signature Bank had failed.

And what was so instructive about this conversation was Gina's real insight into the operations

of the Federal Reserve and also what their policies mean to you and me.
